My 200 top achivements
I am still a young person and at the age of 22 I might say I have achieved so much and I am proud of myself. this is the last of things I managed to achieve so far:
WHAT MOTIVATES ME
There are lots of things that keeps me going in life, things and people that make me want to achieve more. I would say my parents and siblings are my motivation.
My mother is a domestic worker with 5 children but she managed to give us a wonderful life and good education. Although I want more finer things in life and wish that I had more money but I am extremely happy where i am. The strength my mother has motivates me, she has motivated me to do well in my studies, she taught me to be stronger and focus on my dreams.
My bigger sister is also one of the people who encourages me to do well, she has done well for herself too but she always tell me that I can do better. There are also other people who are not as close to me but just by seeing them I get so motivated and want to be like them.

The 10 most unexpected consequences of being online.
The world has changed so much and technology has taken over, things are now done electronically. People are more focused on the Internet, they socialise, read and buy things online. Although the Internet is easy, convenient and saves time it can have some unexpected consequences
.These are the 10 most unexpected consequences of being online.
- Having a stalker, getting a cyber boyfriends who becomes obsessed and end up stalking you.

- The Internet is a waste of time because you end up playing or searching unnecessary things while you should be doing other important things
- The Internet can be risky for your health because it is not good to sit on the computer all day, you can get eye problems and other health problems.
- you learn to trust people whom you have never met before and disclose you information which they can use against you.
- There are many scams that can be used on the Internet, some can leave you with debts that yo do not even know.
- Posting nasty comments about someone or your boss online and that person ends up knowing about them, this will cause you to lose your job or have enemies.

My phone is controlling my life
I always wonder if I am the only one who is addicted to her cellphone,I feel like it's controlling me and taking over my life. I can't go anywhere without it.
I own a blackberry curve and I hate it because it makes me lose track of time, I am so attached to it and has became my best friend. I no longer care about socialising, I don't even get the time to miss or hang out with my friends because I prefer to chat with them via blackberry and even if they come over to visit I hardly give them any attention.
I take time to do things or finish my chores because this "li'l devil" is on my hand. I hate the fact that it has more power and it's making me forget to spend time with the important people in my life. I feel like throwing it away but sadly I can't.

The elephant in the room
According to the online dictionary an elephant in the room is an important and obvious topic, which everyone present is aware of, but which isn't discussed, as such discussion is considered to be uncomfortable.
when it is said that "there is an elephant in the room" it means that there is silence and indenial about something". For example in my culture (Xhosa) it is wrong to talk about sex and HIV with our elders. although they know that we are already sexually active and we getting pregnant they are taking a blind eye to the matter instead of advising us on what to do and how to prevent it.

Everyday is a good day
In life everything may not be perfect, life may not work out the way you want it to work out but it is best to take every day as it comes.
You will feel as if some days are harder, longer and bad but do not be discouraged. Think of all the goods life has brought you, think of the the little things that made you happy, things that had brought joy and the blessing the lord has given you and remember every day is a good day.

There is a saying that says "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade" this is a reminder that we choose our own destiny, if we want to be happy we can make ourselves happy by making the best out of everything and every day shall be a good day.

MY FATHER
I am 22years old and all my life I have always lived with both parents, my mom and my dad which I call him "tata". My father is not like any other father, he is so different and lives in his own planet.
He has been there living with us but neither of his children have had any bond with him. I listened to people complaining how much they needed a father in their lives and I wondered what is it that they need from a father that a mother cannot give. My mom has always loved and took care of me, she gives me enough attention and I sometimes forget that I have a father because my father is just there physically but has never showed any interest in ou lives. he never asks me of how I am, what i want for my future, he doesnt even seem to care of any other things I do. I sometimes feel as if marrying and having children was not part of his plans.
There are so many things that I want to say to my father and so many questions i want to ask him but i cant because all he does is shut us out. i need a father not a dad, i need more from him because we are all growing old and he is growing old but neither of us has a bond with him. he never talks about things that matters to him or to us, he never cares whether i make a mistake or whether I succeed. my father just keeps quiet and i sometimes feel like strangling him to get words out of his mouth. he makes me angry because there is nothing that hurts like "silent" . I feel so lost and numb when my peers talk about their fathers, the things they do for them as their children and yet i am leaving with my father but i dont have any happy tales to tell. we never have any memories to tell, I want my father to change, I want him to start caring and I sometimes resent having him as a father. I hate the feeling but I cant help it.
I NEED A FATHER, A REAL FATHER!!!
