My phone is controlling my life

I always wonder if I am the only one who is addicted to her cellphone,I feel like it's controlling me and taking over my life. I can't go anywhere without it.

I own a blackberry curve and I hate it because it makes me lose track of time, I am so attached to it and has became my best friend. I no longer care about socialising, I don't even get the time to miss or hang out with my friends because I prefer to chat with them via blackberry and even if they come over to visit I hardly give them any attention.

I take time to do things or finish my chores because this "li'l devil" is on my hand. I hate the fact that it has more power and it's making me forget to spend time with the important people in my life. I feel like throwing it away but sadly I can't.

I prefer to talk with friends via BB rather than hang out with them

The elephant in the room

According to the online dictionary an elephant in the room is an  important and obvious topic, which everyone present is aware of, but which isn't discussed, as such discussion is considered to be uncomfortable.

when it is said that "there is an elephant in the room" it means that there is silence and indenial about something". For example in my culture (Xhosa) it is wrong to talk about sex and HIV with our elders. although they know that we are already sexually active and we getting pregnant they are taking a blind eye to the matter instead of advising us on what to do and how to prevent it.

Everyday is a good day

In life everything may not be perfect, life may not work out the way you want it to work out but it is best to take every day as it comes.

You will feel as if some days are harder, longer and  bad but do not be discouraged. Think of all the goods life has brought you, think of the the little things that made you happy, things that had brought joy and the blessing the lord has given you and remember every day is a good day.

There is a saying that says  "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade" this is a reminder that we choose our own destiny, if we want to be happy we can make ourselves happy by making the best out of everything and every day shall be a good day.
always put up a smile and do the things you enjoy the most to make everyday a good day
